Successful applicants will demonstrate a desire and willingness to develop the skills necessary to become a proficient automotive technician capable of diagnosing problems and completing repairs without close supervision. Reliability, enthusiasm and a positive “team player” attitude are highly regarded.

POSITION AVAILABLE:

Diesel Repair Technician

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Own tools and toolbox (basic hand tools)

Valid California Drivers License (Class “A” a plus)

2 years’ experience as diesel technician working on Class 6 – 8 trucks

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Diesel Mechanic – Full-time

The current opening is for a full-time diesel mechanic to service customers’ equipment on-site. Ability to perform diagnostics/repair and replace major components of various light/medium/heavy-duty trucks including Clutches, Electric Systems, Hydraulic/Air Brake systems, Heating/Air Conditioning systems, Instruments and Gauges, and Preventative Maintenance Service. Experience using vehicle manufacturer computer software programs including but not limited to CAT, Cummins, Detroit, Isuzu, Mack, Volvo, Paccar, International and Hino. Must be proficient in DEF and DPF system diagnosis and repair.
